Currently, we do not have images because they would probably require heavy moderation.

So, we need to figure out a way to automate that moderation before doing images. My best idea is to charge a high fee to upload an image, like $100.

Or maybe, each uploaded image is turned into an NFT, therefore it's decentralized and doesn't need moderation? Heh, there's probably holes in that.

Edit: Of course, you can upload an image elsewhere and then input the image URL into the "new post" "link" field.

Hey, nice idea to charge to upload an image, but you'll need to host it in this case.

for the NFT, i'm not sure how this could work ? Is it possible to display an NFT as an image without hosting it ?

Yes, if we charge for images then they will be hosted here. And triple backed up, etc.

It's usually very easy to display any image on the Internet on your site. It's just a matter of using the full URL instead of only something like cat.jpg. But it's a bit frowned on to use images from elsewhere, it's often called hotlinking. But with NFTs, I think it's fine because it seems like NFTs would not be possible without hotlinking.
